In a recent statement, Regina Daniels’ mother addressed public speculation surrounding her daughter’s marriage to Ned Nwoko, denying any involvement in endorsing the union.
“I never forced Regina to marry a much older man,” she stated, responding to accusations that she had “sold” her daughter into the relationship. “What people don’t know is that I was the last person to learn about their relationship.”
She recounted her surprise upon realizing the seriousness of their bond. “When I asked Regina what was happening, she replied, ‘Have I ever introduced you to anyone as the person I want to get married to aside from Ned Nwoko?'” This revelation indicated her daughter’s strong commitment, complicating her mother’s feelings.
