I had the honor of visiting the palaces of HRH Ezeogo John Igwe, the Igboeze 3 of Ekoli Autonomous Community, and HRH Dickson Obo of Umunna Autonomous Community. These visits reaffirmed my commitment to fostering peace and unity, not only within Ekoli and Umunna but throughout Edda Clan.
This meeting served as a follow-up to my prior discussions with the leadership of the Ekoli band, including Chief Samuel Kalu Ama Mba, President of the Ekoli Band of Hope Union, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, and Barrister Eni Uduma Chima, regarding the vital need for peace in the Ekoli Edda community.
During my discussions with the traditional rulers, I emphasized our collective responsibility to enhance the socio-economic wellbeing of Edda, aiming for a peaceful, safe, and harmonious environment for all.
I made it clear that any individual, group, or community unwilling to embrace this peace initiative will face consequences. I also highlighted the significant efforts of the Ebonyi State government, led by His Excellency Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru, in promoting peace in Edda. It is imperative that we align ourselves with these efforts.
I earnestly urge the people of Ekoli Edda to seize this opportunity for reflection on the importance of reconciliation and forgiveness among us as brothers and sisters.
Together, let us build a peaceful future for Edda Clan.
