A Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ruled that the Nigerian Senate acted beyond its powers by suspending Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months, ordering her immediate recall to the Red Chamber. The Independent National Electoral Commission has clarified that the Continuous Voter Registration exercise, starting on July 8 in Anambra, is solely for the November 8 governorship election.
