Gunmen have killed two persons in Agba Community, Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria’s South-east. The incident happened on Sunday when the gunmen, suspected to be armed robbers, invaded the community. Chukwu Nwadibia, the president-general of the community, confirmed the incident on Sunday. The Abia State Police Command has successfully rescued three kidnapped victims and apprehended suspects linked to the crime, recovering N2 million in ransom money and other evidence during a tactical operation. The rescued victims, identified as Onyedikachi Peter Onyegesi from Akpou, Isuochi, Abia State, and Ifeanyi Nnabuife and Amarachi Nwaebubu, both from Anambra State, were freed following a kidnapping incident reported at Afojide Market, Isuochi.
